We often hear from companies who know they need to do more to train their employees effectively, but they don't know where to start. We’ve taken our collective 20+ years of industry experience and turned this into a training roadmap that you can work through at your own pace. Call it a training needs assessment, a training plan, or a training mind shift…the name doesn’t matter. What matters is that it causes you to think differently about your workforce and develop a plan, which in turn, leads to optimized employee performance.

This workbook is for you if:

• You've been tasked by your boss to do a training needs assessment for your organization, but you don't know where to start. Or, maybe you are the boss and know that you need a plan for training.

• Your employees don’t feel their training is adequate to do their jobs properly, but you don't know what they need.

• You've noticed that employee performance is not where you want it to be, and need structure to figure out how to address the situation.

It has been designed as a DIY tool to help you determine your way forward with training.

The PDF workbook will walk you through 10+ steps to figure out where your training gaps are and how you want to address them. It also covers your future skills needs so your organization can be ready to face the future, whatever it might hold. You can work through these steps for a single branch/department or a whole organization, whether a for-profit company or a non-profit organization. You can also use it over and over again, as your staff changes and as your (and their) needs change

This workbook may not be for you if:

• You’re not willing to put the time in to work through the steps. It is a “self-study” process.

• You aren’t willing to take action once you finalize your roadmap. A roadmap is useless as a piece of paper - it needs to be actioned to be effective.
